1. First log in to your Facebook account.
2. Go to 'Settings' and click on Inverted Triangle on top right corner 
3. Now click ' Security and Login ' 
4. Click ' In Security and Login, you will find options like 'Change password' and 'Login with your profile picture'. Below them you will see the option of 'two-factor authentication'
5. Then click on 'Two-factor authentication' 

Now you have two ways to turn on two -factor authentication First you can do the 'Text message' option. In addition, you can do this by using the Google Authenticator or the Duo Mobile app. 

With the help of 'Text message' ... 

1. When you select the option of 'Text Message', a 6 digit code is sent to your registered mobile number and then you are asked to enter that code to verify it. 
2. Enter the code you received on your phone 
3. After that you will receive a message that will confirm that your two-factor authentication has been turned on. 


With the help of an authentication app ... 

1. If you have not registered your mobile number or you do not want to use the first option'text message' , then you have another way. For this, first of all install an authentication app. 
2. Now scan the QR code on the screen or enter the code appearing on your authentication app. 
3. After this you will get a new code on your app. Enter the code when the code is requested. Your two-factor authentication has now been activated.
