New campaign of Jio and Whatsapp will give users training to run WhatsApp-Techality

Reliance Jio and Facebook-owned WhatsAppApps announced a new campaign on Friday. Through this new partnership, the two companies will train Jio Phone users to use the mobile messaging platform ie Whatsapp.


The launch of this special campaign of Jio and Whatsapp will begin on October 9. Both companies will organize street play in 10 cities of different states including Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Through these plays, users will be shown the meaningful and positive ways of using Whatsapp.


A spokeswoman for WhatsAppSpace said, "Geo has been an important contributor to pushing millions of Indians ahead of India's digital revolution. We are excited to help people with a campaign to teach how to talk in an easy and safe way. "



In September, Reliance Jio launched Whatsapp in its 4G feature phone, Geo Phone. Both companies have created video tutorials and other informative content. 


These content is available online and in Geo stores in Hindi, Bengali and Marathi including 11 Indian languages. Whatsapp is used by more than 200 million people in India and it is one of the most popular messaging apps in the world.
